Two complete point-in-time texts are preserved here:

• 1889 Constitution — as adopted (Oct. 1, 1889) and in effect at statehood (Nov. 2, 1889)
• 1980 Constitution — the final text under the original 1889 numbering, on the eve of the 1981 reorganization
